day 29 - a movie from your childhood
Oh boy, been a while since I did this.
I must have watched the Parent Trap at least once a week when I was a kid. Of course, most of the jokes went over my head. But I still wanted to be Lindsay Lohan when I grew up, and thought Natasha Richardson was the most beautiful woman in the world.
Also, I think those shots of Annie in London made me the Anglophile I am today.

I am definitely one of those girls who loves Kurt Cobain as a person. Moments like this, plus all the stuff he said about how much he hated people who were homophobic, sexist, etc. makes me think he was such a kind soul trying to get by with all the pain he had. He probably killed himself because he couldn’t get clean and couldn’t take the depression anymore. Anyone who thinks Courtney Love did it needs to take their dear Kurt off the pedestal. He was a person who had demons just like anyone, and he put himself out of his misery the only way he saw how. He was young and didn’t know any better.

LEGIT THIS WAS MY FAVORITE MOVIE WHEN I WAS LITTLE. I think I can still quote every line. I wanted them to be my parents. I wanted to BE Lindsay Lohan.

“I’d die for her. I love her so much. I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s going through a lot right now. I wish I could just kiss away the pain, make it go away, stop it, kill it! If she, you know, (gets teary eyed) I don’t know what I would do. I’d kill myself. I love that girl. I love her. I love her almost more than I love myself” - Johnny Depp on Winona Ryder (1989)
I ship them.
